We had a fantastic first lunch here with the family. We tried a little bit of everything: the thattai idli, vada, masala dosa combo, thakkali thokku dosa, gonkura chutney dosa, and a plain dosa. The main dishes were all incredibly authentic and delicious. The idlis and vada, in particular, were perfectly soft with a great texture. While the sambar and chutneys were good, they weren't the absolute best we've had. A quick tip for future diners: the dosas are huge—about 1.5 to 2 times the size you'd find elsewhere, so keep that in mind when ordering! The prices are very reasonable, and the service was super fast and friendly. A bonus tip: check out the adjacent Chennai grocery store for authentic ready-made mixes like puliodharai. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Thali hot meals really good and very fresh food. We enjoyed hot lunch thali weekend special and taken togo for my gradma and she loved real south Indian marriage style food. Thanks we will go again and people like us can try all dosai and hot thali meals and all under $15 to $20.
Ordered from Dosa Express and had a mixed experience. What I liked: The Idli was soft, fresh, and very well made. The Rava Kesari was delicious — perfectly sweet and had a nice texture. What I didn’t like: The Puri was dry and not fresh. The curry that came with the puri didn’t taste good at all — bland and lacking flavor. Overall, some items were great, but the puri and its curry were a letdown. I'd reorder the idli and kesari, but definitely skipping the puri next time.
I visited Dosa Express again, and I have to frankly say I can’t live without dosa. I can officially tell that Everything has improved so drastically since my last visit. Service Staff Ambience Dosa itself All dosas that they serve are “first-class” — Mumbai slang for top-notch! The flavors speak for itself. So far my favorites are Andhra Kara , Small Onion with extra garlic chutney, & Curry leaf . I am now totally, completely addicted to dosa. Can’t imagine a perfect world without it Just pure love to you all! Keep up the good food, good mood feel!
We ordered butter masala dosa , it was very tasty and fresh. Sambhar and all 3 chutneys were very tasty as well. Great for quick meals. Food was served quickly.
I visited Dosa Express with my friends, food was very delicious and we would definitely drop off very often. Very good taste at affordable price. Staffs were really welcoming, polite and customer service was great. We also purchased their idly batter which apparently is preservative free. Taste of this batter came out way good than expected and it doesnt bloat your tummy like other batters do. This will be our go to batter from now onwards.
I really enjoyed this place! The flavors instantly took me back to South India — authentic and comforting. We ordered dosa, and it was absolutely delicious — crispy, flavorful, and served just right. A must-visit for anyone craving genuine South Indian cuisine!
Went for lunch on a weekday and it was not busy at all. We ordered pesarettu dosa, masala dosa, medu wada and a combo of wada, dosa and kesari. The size of the dosa is quite huge and the dosas tasted delicious. Medu wada was crisp. Chutneys are average. However filter coffee was not tasting like authentic filter coffee. It was just normal coffee and lot of milk for my taste. Overall
